About SAN FRANCISCO ITALIAN ATHLETIC CLUB FOUNDATION

The San Francisco Italian Athletic Club Foundation (SFIAC Foundation) is the 501(c)(3) philanthropic arm of the historic San Francisco Italian Athletic Club focused on preserving and celebrating Italian culture in the North Beach neighborhood. The foundation sponsors cultural programming, community festivals, language classes and youth-sports initiatives that support local businesses and community cohesion. In recent years the foundation has operated recurring public events — including Festa Italiana and the Statuto Race, a long-standing community footrace — and launched/expanded popular neighborhood festivals and fundraising events that reinvest proceeds into local cultural and youth programs. The foundation also runs an annual High School Sports Awards banquet and offers community-facing Italian language classes and other programs designed to sustain North Beach’s cultural heritage.

Stewardship of the Statuto Race and Festa Italiana

Sustained and promoted the historic Statuto Race and Festa Italiana in North Beach, preserving a multi-decade cultural and athletic tradition that brings residents and visitors together each year.
