About SAN FRANCISCO SAFEHOUSE

San Francisco SafeHouse (SafeHouse) is a San Francisco–based nonprofit founded in 1998 that provides transitional housing, drop-in services, and supportive programs for women experiencing housing instability and sexual exploitation or trafficking. SafeHouse operates a confidential 24/7 transitional house, the Hope Center drop-in program, Shelter-in-Place hotel placements, rental-subsidy and case management services, plus advocacy and community training; it is a related organization of the SF Network Ministries Housing Corporation which manages program sites and some government grants. The organization centers survivor-focused, trauma-informed care and maintains financial transparency by publishing audited financials and recent IRS Form 990s on its website.
