About IRVING AND VARDA RABIN FOUNDATION

The Irving and Varda Rabin Foundation is a supporting foundation affiliated with the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties. The foundation exists to make grants and otherwise support the Federation's charitable, educational, and religious work across the Bay Area, Israel, and other communities identified by the Federation. In recent years the foundation has been an active participant in the Federation’s pooled grantmaking and impact-investing initiatives, and it appears in the Federation’s impact reports for 2022–2025 as a participating fund. The foundation files annual Form 990 returns and operates with multi-year grantmaking capacity to support local Jewish communal institutions and broader community partners.
