About EVERGREEN FAMILY FRIENDSHIP SERVICE
Evergreen Family Friendship Service (often presented as Evergreen China) is a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has partnered with Shanxi Province since the early 1990s to deliver locally‑appropriate professional services in areas such as health, education, family support and agricultural development.
The organization focuses on capacity building—training local professionals, advising institutions, and running direct programs (for example medical rehabilitation, special-needs child services and teacher placement). In the last 2–3 years Evergreen has continued program delivery in Shanxi, adapted activities following pandemic restrictions, and maintained regular U.S. nonprofit reporting.
