About DIAMOND HEAD THEATRE

Diamond Head Theatre is a long-running community theatre in Honolulu that produces Broadway-scale live productions and year-round theatre arts education. Founded in 1915, the organization describes itself as “the Broadway of the Pacific” and presents a six-show season that reaches tens of thousands ofatendees each year.

DHT operates training and outreach programs for all ages, including seasonal classes, a seven-week Summer Musical Theatre Experience, and the youth performing troupe “Shooting Stars.” In recent years the organization completed a major capital project (a newly constructed theatre opened on the property in 2023) and has continued regular seasons, education offerings, and community fundraising events as an active 501(c)(3) organization (FEIN 99-0073495).
