Palama Settlement

Palama Settlement is a long-standing nonprofit community social service agency in Honolulu, established in 1896 and incorporated in 1910. It operates neighborhood-based programs on its Vineyard Boulevard campus that combine education, health, and recreation services for residents of Kalihi–Palama and surrounding communities. In recent years Palama has continued to operate and expand preschool and after-school programs, youth sports and aquatics, senior services, community food and emergency assistance, and new learning initiatives such as a Digital Arts/Center for Innovation program. The organization has been actively planning campus improvements and a capital campaign to modernize facilities and increase early childhood and workforce-training capacity. Palama maintains active program delivery and stewardship of donor funding, reporting multi‑million dollar annual revenues and multimillion dollar net assets in its most recent filings, and continues to partner with local foundations and community funders to support program growth and facility renewal.
