KCAA PRESCHOOLS OF HAWAII

KCAA Preschools of Hawaii is a long-established nonprofit early childhood education provider founded in 1895 (originally Free Kindergarten and Children’s Aid Association). The organization operates three nationally accredited preschools on Oahu (Muriel, Kuapa, and Mother Rice) and focuses on preparing children ages 2–5 for success in kindergarten through a child-centered curriculum and assessment system.

In the last 2–3 years KCAA has continued active program delivery and fundraising: its most recent Form 990 filings show organization-scale operations with program services making up the large majority of revenue, and the organization has received community support for campus improvements such as a new lending library at the Muriel campus. KCAA maintains NAEYC-aligned standards across its centers and provides tuition-aid resources and referral information to support families who need financial assistance.
