SEAGULL SCHOOLS INC

Seagull Schools, Inc. is a Hawaiʻi-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that operates early childhood education centers and an adult day program, headquartered in Kailua. Founded in 1971, the organization runs six campuses across Oʻahu and maintains year-round, play-based programs designed to be affordable and accessible to working families. Programs serve infants, toddlers and preschool-aged children with extended daily hours, in-house meals, and financial aid; the organization also operates an Adult Day Center and historically runs intergenerational programming that connects keiki and kūpuna. Seagull emphasizes nationally recognized best practices in early childhood learning and holds national accreditations for its established campuses while continuing to expand services and capacity. In recent years Seagull has grown program capacity (including opening a new Aina Haina campus in August 2023), serves more than 800 children with a staff of over 140 educators and administrators, and reports multi-million-dollar annual revenues and substantial net assets that support tuition assistance, campus development, and program operations.
