About HAWAII YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION

The Hawaii Youth Soccer Association (HYSA) is the state’s largest youth soccer organization and the recognized U.S. Youth Soccer/United States Soccer Federation affiliate for Hawaiʻi. HYSA is organized as a non-profit corporation and holds tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3).

HYSA administers statewide programs including the Hawaii State Cup (regional qualifier to Far West and national championships), Olympic Development Program (ODP), coaching education, referee development, and tournament/league coordination across island clubs and leagues. The association works with local clubs (Oʻahu, Big Island, Kauaʻi, Maui and others) to register players, certify coaches and referees, and run competitive and recreational programs.

In recent seasons HYSA has continued to send teams to Far West regional events and national competitions and has invested in member services and technology to support registration and program delivery. HYSA maintains a public web presence with program registration, rules & policies, and news about state and national-level results.
