About AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS HAWAII CHAPTER INC
The American Academy of Pediatrics – Hawaii Chapter is the state chapter of the national AAP and is a voluntary professional organization of pediatricians and child‑health professionals in Hawaii. The Chapter represents over 200 members across private, group, military and academic practice, and pediatric trainees, and focuses on continuing medical education, policy advocacy, and community resources for child health.
The Chapter organizes regular dinner meetings and biannual half‑day conferences offering CME, serves on state and county health and education committees, and provides public resources for parents and clinicians (including pages addressing school health, disaster response, and keiki resources). In the last few years the Chapter has actively supported disaster recovery and child‑health needs following the August 2023 Maui wildfires and has continued annual public reporting through Form 990 filings.
