About HAWAII STATE GOLF ASSOCIATION

The Hawaii State Golf Association (HSGA) is the USGA Allied Golf Association that represents Hawaii (and affiliated military courses in the Pacific). HSGA operates as a member-focused nonprofit that provides statewide handicapping through GHIN, administers course & slope ratings, organizes and sanctions amateur tournaments, and runs rules and handicapping education programs. In recent years HSGA has actively hosted USGA local qualifiers and statewide championships, supported junior and high-school golf programs, and partnered with the USGA and local partners on grants, internship opportunities, and tournament administration. The association maintains an active public-facing website, current tournament calendar, and regularly filed Form 990s indicating ongoing operations and program activity.
