The Domestic Violence Action Center (DVAC) is a Honolulu-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1990 and incorporated in 1991 that provides legal advocacy, survivor support, housing assistance, education, outreach, and systems advocacy for survivors and families across Hawaiʻi. FY2025 service reach
In the fiscal year ending June 2025 DVAC reported substantial service delivery: advocates opened 975 advocacy cases (607 closed), completed 2,972 safety plans, conducted 2,741 risk assessments, made 739 court accompaniments, and provided 105 survivor support group sessions.
Youth education and supportive housing impact
DVAC's Teen Alert Program (TAP) reached over 3,000 youth in FY2025 through healthy-relationship education statewide; its supportive housing program served 31 adults and 56 children in FY2025, pairing housing with wraparound services.
