KOKUA MAU INC

Kōkua Mau is Hawaii’s statewide hospice and palliative care organization and a central hub for hospice, palliative care, advance care planning, and end-of-life care resources. It serves as a coalition and membership network connecting providers, health systems, community organizations, and individuals across the islands. The organization produces education and training, public-facing materials (advance directives, POLST guidance, caregiver booklets), and conducts statewide initiatives to map and strengthen palliative and hospice capacity. In recent years Kōkua Mau has continued active programming, hosted virtual and in-person trainings, worked with Hawaii’s Comprehensive Cancer Control Program, and engaged in legislative and policy advocacy related to advance care planning. Kōkua Mau is an active, donor-facing 501(c)(3) nonprofit with an established web presence, regular public materials and events, and recent Form 990 filings that show ongoing operations and program activity in 2023–2024.
