The Waikīkī Business Improvement District Association (WBID/WBIDA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit formed to supplement public services in the Waikīkī Special District by providing sanitation, safety, hospitality and outreach programs that maintain the neighborhood’s appeal for residents, businesses and visitors. WBID operates the Aloha Ambassador Program and related Clean & Safe initiatives, works with public and private partners on homelessness and mental-health outreach, and convenes disaster-preparedness and streetscape maintenance activities to support Waikīkī’s physical and economic vitality.
