About OPERATION I CAN TAKE IT FROM HERE
Operation: I Can Take It From Here is a Denver‑metro grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit (founded 2024) that delivers rapid, practical emotional first aid and trauma‑resolution tools to people returning from incarceration—whom the organization calls “restored citizens.”
The organization combines Clinical Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), FAST (First Aid for Stress & Trauma), coaching, peer mentoring, and employment‑readiness support to help participants manage PTSD, stress, and reentry barriers and to advocate for second‑chance employment.
Founding leadership and public outreach (book appearances, media interviews and trainings) are led by Lisa Forbes, a survivor, author and professional speaker who centers lived experience in program design.
