The Third Place for Kids

For many neurodivergent and disabled children, everyday places can feel overwhelming, and for their parents, the isolation can be just as heavy. The Third Place for Kids was created to change that by offering a sensory-friendly community space where families can play, connect, and feel understood. In only six months, we’ve welcomed more than 2,300 visitors who describe it as the first place they’ve truly belonged. Your support helps expand parent support groups, sensory-friendly storytimes and music sessions, and respite nights that give caregivers a moment to rest and recharge, strengthening families and building the inclusive community every child deserves.
