About Colorado Freeriders
Colorado Freeriders is a Colorado-based nonprofit club for outdoor riding enthusiasts focused on education, safety, stewardship, and advocacy for public land access. The group began in 2023 and organized as a nonprofit in 2024 to expand programming and partnerships.
The organization runs avalanche- and backcountry-safety education, member ride programs and clinics, and trail stewardship efforts, while partnering with local motor-sports dealers, training providers, and allied clubs to broaden impact.
Colorado Freeriders also operates membership programs and merchandise sales to fund activities, and has hosted multi-location events (examples from 2023–2024 include Vail, Corona Pass, Moab and Red Dirt) to engage riders across the state and region.
