BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF HAWAII

Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii (BGCH) is a statewide, donor-facing 501(c)(3) youth development organization that provides safe after-school and summer programs, mentoring, and enrichment for school-aged children and teens on Oʻahu and Kauaʻi. BGCH operates multiple Clubhouses and outreach sites and delivers programs in academics, STEM, health and life skills, the arts, leadership, and sports. BGCH reports serving thousands of young people each year (the organization cites 15,000+ youth impacted annually) and has been operating in Hawaiʻi since its first Clubhouse opened in 1976. In the last few years BGCH has expanded fundraising and program partnerships, completed a major Kapaʻa Clubhouse renovation on Kauaʻi (2023), and received multi-year grant support for after-school programming. The organization is led by a President & CEO and governed by a community board; BGCH publishes annual reports and commissions independent audits as part of its financial oversight and has been actively engaged in statewide grant opportunities to expand comprehensive after-school services.
