The Hawai'i Academy of Science (HAS) is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1925. The vision of the Academy is to promote scientific research & education in Hawai'i and the Pacific Rim. The Academy is particularly interested in developing and executing programs and experiences for the science and learning communities.
About HAWAII ACADEMY OF SCIENCE
The Hawaii Academy of Science is a Honolulu-based, donor-facing 501(c)(3) nonprofit that promotes science research and STEM education across Hawaiʻi and the Pacific Rim. It has a long institutional history (founded 1925) and operates statewide programs and competitions that connect K–12 students with scientists, educators, and judges.
