Founded in 2004, Cottonwood Institute began with a mission to connect students to nature through experiential education. Over the years, it has evolved to integrate environmental stewardship and leadership development into its core programs.
Currently, the organization partners with schools and community groups in the Denver, Aurora, and Boulder areas, offering programs that combine outdoor adventures with action projects addressing local environmental issues.
