About Streetlives

Founded in 2015, Streetlives NYC began as a pro bono project aimed at addressing homelessness through community-driven technology solutions. By 2022, it achieved 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, solidifying its commitment to empowering unhoused individuals.

Currently, Streetlives NYC operates the YourPeer platform, offering peer-validated information on over 2,600 services across 1,500 locations in New York City. In the past year, it has served more than 47,000 individuals seeking assistance.
